Concept for another bird monster that popped up in my head. Still working out her details and colors. All I know for sure is that she has some red, and maybe a green/teal/blue base? :O
I think she's married to a regular ol' shoebill, for some reason o_o

What a neat creature! She has a great little face, and her character information is interesting and fitting. My only crit would be to add claws on her feet so they read as "dog" rather than "cat". Can't wait to see her colored! The color scheme you mentioned sounds gorgeous.
